Samurai

Samurai

The Samurai people originated in Japan. They lived there life according to the code of Bushido which means “the way of the warrior”. To live this way they had to be loyal, respectful and be self disciplined. The Samurais had a lot of honour. In fact, they had so much honour that if they were defied they would commit seppuku now known as suicide. They would do this by rolling up in paper and getting a fellow Samurai to cut them vertical then horizontal down their stomachs. To make it worse there would be a man behind him to cut off his head after the cutting of the stomach was done.

The Samurais wore clothing that covered their face. They were usually covered head to toe in metal outfits. Some even wore hats with horns. The Samurai fought with many weapons but their well none weapon was the sword. At the age of 5 or 6 on your birthday you would get your first samurai sword (fake of course) to start to train. Rich kids went to a special school to learn how to become a Samurai others were taught by their fathers or grandfathers.
