In my opinion, I think students should not be allowed to use texting language in their reports. I find that school is for learning proper grammar, not for improper grammar. Texting language such as “OMG” or “LOL” should not be prohibited in the schools learning system. If students get used to texting language too much it could spoil up their spelling skills. Teachers should not want this for their students, since it with make it harder for the students in the long run.
Another reason why I think texting language should not be aloud, because not everyone understands it. Say you have an old professed that has no clue what “HBU” meant, you would fail.
My last reason why I think it is a terrible idea to allow texting language in school is because it shortens student’s vocabulary. Soon essays that were originally 200 words will be slashed to 150 because of short form.
In conclusion I would say that it is a terrible idea for school to go through with. I believe that some thing may change throughout the years but proper grammar should not be one of them.

What's HBU stand for? Plus, prohibited means banned so it should be prohibited. But what's the point?
"HBU" stands for "How `Bout You"...
I thought you would have been smart enough to figure that out but
... of course you would not. :P
